irmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA)
Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA) is a comprehensive programme to ensure sanitation facilities in rural areas with broader goal to eradicate the practice of open defecation. NBA as a part of reform principles was initiated in 1999 when Central Rural Sanitation Programme was restructured making it demand driven and people centered. It follows a principle of “low to no subsidy” where a nominal subsidy in the form of incentive is given to rural poor households for construction of toilets. NBA gives strong emphasis on Information, Education and Communication (IEC), Capacity Building and Hygiene Education for effective behaviour change with involvement of PRIs, CBOs, and NGOs etc. The key intervention areas are Individual household latrines (IHHL), School Sanitation and Hygiene Education (SSHE), Community Sanitary Complex, Anganwadi toilets supported by Rural Sanitary Marts (RSMs) and Production Centers (PCs). The main goal of the GOI is to eradicate the practice of open defecation by 2017. To give fillip to this endeavor, GOI has launched Nirmal Gram Puraskar to recognize the efforts in terms of cash awards for fully covered PRIs and those individuals and institutions who have contributed significantly in ensuring full sanitation coverage in their area of operation. The project is being implemented in rural areas taking district as a unit of implementation.

The Hindu : News / National : BrahMos airborne launcher prototype undergoing tests
The BrahMos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Limited (BATL) has been contracted to build five prototype airborne launchers of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile with its first flight test on a Su-30 MKI aircraft slated to take place by the end of 2012.
Designed by BrahMos engineers and approved by the Sukhoi Design Bureau, original makers of Sukhoi, the launcher was indigenously developed by BATL.........
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), in the meantime, has begun to make necessary modifications to the Sukhoi undercarriage to take on the launcher from which the missile, with a take-off mass of 2,500 kg, would be gravity-dropped.
Once the structural tests of the launcher are over, its mechanism of release would be tested from a static platform using a dummy missile. The launcher would then be integrated onto the reinforced Sukhoi airframe to repeat the test. The electrical interface between the aircraft and the launcher would also be checked using a technology missile with the operation of release carried out from the cockpit. At the end of it, actual air launches of BrahMos — firing of the missile booster from a Sukhoi — would be conducted using the last airborne launcher prototype........

इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय विधवा पेंशन योजना
गरीबी रेखा से नीचे (बीपीएल) के परिवारों की 40-64 वर्ष की आयु वर्ग की विधवाओं के लिए फरवरी, 2009 में इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय विधवा पेंशन योजना (आईजीएनडब्ल्यूपीएस) शुरू की गई थी। इस योजना के अंतर्गत उन्हें 200 रुपये प्रति मास की केन्द्रीय सहायता दी जाती है और राज्य सरकारों से अनुरोध किया गया है कि वे कम से कम बराबर राशि का अंशदान अपने स्वयं के संसाधनों से करें। 31.3.2011 की स्थिति के अनुसार आईजीएनडब्ल्यूपीएस के तहत लाभ प्राप्त करने वाली विधवाओं की राज्यवार संख्या अनुबंध में दी गई है।

अमेरिकी क्रान्ति....
अमेरिका का उपनिवेशीकरण स्पेन के द्वारा आरम्भ किया गया । बाद में ब्रिटेन और फ्रांस का दबदबा हो गया ।
ब्रिटेन ने उतरी अमेरिका में १३ बस्तियां स्थापित की । यहाँ के मूल निवासी रेड इंडियन को दबा दिया गया ।
अमेरिका जनसँख्या विस्फोट की स्थिति में पहुच चुका था ।
अमेरिका में सामंतवाद अनुपस्थित था , गणतंत्र वादी विचार के उद्भव में इसने प्रमुख भूमिका निभाई ।
अमेरिका में उच्च वर्ग के लोगो को यूरोप की तुलना में कम राजनैतिक व सामजिक अधिकार प्राप्त थे ।
अमेरिकी लोगो की चेतना को जागृत करने में ग्रेट अवेकनिंग जैसे धार्मिक आंदोलनों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही ।
आतंरिक व बाह्य व्यापार के विकास के कारण मुद्रा अर्थव्यवस्था को प्रोत्साहन मिला ।
१७६० के दशक में अमेरिका व ब्रिटेन के बिच मौलिक हितों में विरोधाभास के कारण मतभेद उभरने लगे ।
इन सभी चीजो ने अमेरिकी क्रान्ति को संभव बनाया ।
